Greek Association of IT, TELEKOM and New Technologies Companies-Non-profit Civil Partnership is an organization created in 2010 by entrepreneurs operating throughout Greece, with the following objectives:
- the promotion of support and entrepreneurship actions for the modernization and development of businesses,
- the design, organization and implementation of educational and training programs for the staff of enterprises and institutions,
- the preparation of proposals and the management of EU and Greek Ministries’ programmes,
- the participation in research projects and, in general, the use of research results in entrepreneurship,
- information on current trends at national, European and international level,
- the representation of the member enterprises of the Association,
- the cultivation of the entrepreneurial spirit in young people,
- the organisation of conferences – exhibitions – events.
It collaborates with public and wider public sector bodies as well as with European and international institutes and organisations for the design and implementation of programmes and projects funded from national resources, EU funds and funds from independent donors.
The Municipality of Thermaikos is a municipality of the Region of Central Macedonia that was established by the Kallikrates Program in 2011. It was formed by the merger of the pre-existing municipalities of Epanomi, Nea Michaniona and Thermaikos. The area of the new municipality is 131.36 square kilometers and the permanent population is 45,561 inhabitants according to the 2021 census by the National Statistical Office. The seat of the municipality is in Peraia.
The Municipality of Lagada is a municipality of the Region of Central Macedonia that was created by the Kallikrates Program by the merger of the pre-existing municipalities of Sochos, Assiris, Kallindia, Koronia, Vertiskos, Lagada and Lachanas. The area of the new municipality of Lagada is 1220.3 square kilometres and the permanent population is 37,022 inhabitants according to the 2021 census by the National Statistical Office. The seat of the municipality is in Lagadas.
Management and Administration Authority Technopolis Thessaloniki S.A
Technopolis Thessaloniki ICT Business Park is an initiative of the most important Information and High Technology companies from all over Greece. This initiative was supported by the state and several public bodies and Research Institutions.
The company’s aim was the establishment of the first high technology Business Park in Greece and to resolve some of the problems of companies in the industry, such as housing needs. Also to create a grid of modern infrastructure and investment opportunities, which will be a development opportunity both for Thessaloniki and Northern Greece and also the country in general.
Technopolis Thessaloniki is the first High Technology Company Park of that size (100.000 square meters) in Greece which can accommodate new economy businesses and educational and research activities while it offers high quality working environment.
After the completion of the building infrastructures of the park in 2008, we founded the “ MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION AUTHORITY OF TECHNOPOLIS THESSALONIKIS SA which is non profit and carries the name “ «MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY OF TECHNOPOLIS THESSALONIKIS»”. Shareholders in this operator are Technopolis Thessaloniki S.A., American Farm School (A.F.S.) and about 20 other important businesses or businessmen from the computer science industry.
TECHNOPOLIS THESSALONIKI INCUBATOR (member of Technopolis Thessaloniki ICT Business Park )
The Technopolis Thessaloniki Incubator is a vital part of the park with the primary goal of providing the necessary structures, support services and financial and investment tools to selected innovative businesses in order to ensure their success and viability in the market. The incubator’s mission is to find initiative business ideas and support their commercialization in a way that is beneficial for the company’s shareholders.
The Technopolis Thessaloniki Incubator focuses on the field of Computer Science and Communication Technologies and in similar fields and has a direct connection with the Park using its connections and social networks. The incubator offers the chance to develop and apply business ideas and technologies that it connects with Technopolis, while new companies that come to Technopolis Incubator can enjoy all the privileges associated with the contact and relationship with Technopolis.
The Incubator’s main goals are:

The Technopolis Thessaloniki Business Incubator is located and operates in a modern building within the Technopolis Thessaloniki ICT Business Park with a total space of 1300 sq. m. including offices, common facilities and infrastructure for hosting 18 enterprises.
Center for Climate Change – Gevgelija is established at 2008, aiming to protect environment and implement activities combating climate change and improving the environment. Center for Climate Change activities’ are related to raising public awareness and undertaking initiatives for combating climate change, support industry in improving their energy and environmental performance, suggesting measures for improving and amendment the legal framework in the field of energy, climate change and environment, as well as strengthening the capacities of the local and national authorities.
Center for Climate Change team involves scientists that represent the core of the organization. Additionally, Center for Climate Change established during its operation cooperation and interactions with many professionals and consultants in the field of energy and environment who are engaged in our activities.
Center for Climate Change has branches in Gevgelija, Skopje and Ohrid and resources for continuous implementation of project activities. Center for Climate Change is securing funds mainly through donor organization and EU funded projects.
GS1 Macedonia is a voluntary form of organization for interested parties from the manufacturing and non-manufacturing sectors in the Republic of Macedonia. GS1 Macedonia is a non-profit association of Macedonian companies.
The main objectives of GS1 Macedonia are the introduction, application and development of a single international system of standards (GS1 standards) for the automatic identification of products and services, electronic exchange of data and the provision of a non-exclusive platform for open cooperation between business partners and business subcontractors.
GS1 Macedonia is the only authorized representative of GS1 in the Republic of Macedonia and has obtained a certificate for the exclusive right to manage, maintain the uniqueness and integrity of the GS1 system in the territory of the Republic of Macedonia, and to provide GS1 identification brochures (Unique Macedonian GS1 brochure – GS1 EMB) to Macedonian companies not required in the national and secular supply chain.
